Small Green Kundan Necklace

This is my favorite. It has a traditional look.
It looks great with mundum neriyathum, the
traditional Kerala saree.

Original kundan is made by cutting holes in
the ornaments ,for the precious stones to be set.
Lac is inserted in the back, and gold is used to
cover the lac.
In artificial kundan, stones are not stuck on lac.
Rough handling tends the stones to come out.

Artificial or orginal jewellery, see that it is not wet.
Do not wash with soap and water.
Always wipe with cotten and wrap it in a cotten or silk cloth.
Can change the silk thread as time passes, but both will
last fresh for long time if taken care of.

Red Kundan Necklace

Kundan jewellery is a traditional Indian jewellery.
Jaipur kundan jewellery is famous.

Artificial jewellery making is a hobby I pursue during
my spare time. It is a creation which gives me great
satisfaction and some pocket money.

Kundan and beads are assembled in a string.
Acording to our imagination we can change the pattern.

Red kundan will look good with white or red sarees ,or
sarees with red motiffs which gives you a
festive look.

This set is the favourite of dancers.
